Introducing URA Transaction Data Integration: AskPropSG Just Got Even Better

AskPropSG is always evolving, and we're excited to announce our latest feature: access to up-to-date sales and rental transaction data from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA)! This powerful new addition to our platform will enable users, especially real estate agents, to access the most recent and accurate information about property transactions in Singapore.

Access the Latest Property Transactions
AskPropSG can now determine if a question requires additional data to provide a comprehensive answer. When that happens, our AI-driven platform will seamlessly pull the relevant sales or rental transaction data from the external URA database. This ensures that users receive the most accurate and up-to-date information, allowing them to make better decisions for their clients.

This new feature significantly enhances AskPropSG's capabilities as a comprehensive tool for real estate agents in Singapore. By having immediate access to the latest transaction data, agents can:
- Save time by eliminating the need to manually search for transaction data
- Provide accurate and timely information to clients
- Make informed recommendations based on the latest data
- Gain a better understanding of the current property market trends
How to Use
Using this feature is as simple as asking your usual questions on AskPropSG. When you submit a question that requires sales or rental transaction data, AskPropSG will automatically identify the need for additional data and pull the relevant information from the URA database.
For example, you could ask:
- "What were the latest rental transactions for The Hyde?"
- "What is the median PSF for The Hyde?"
If you want to ensure that AskPropSG pulls the most up-to-date information from the URA database, you can explicitly request it in your question. Sometimes, AskPropSG might attempt to answer your query based on its existing knowledge base. To override this and get the latest data from URA, simply add "Pull from URA" to your question. For example:
By doing this, you ensure that AskPropSG retrieves the latest transaction data directly from the URA database, providing you with the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Current Limitations
While our integration with URA transaction data has expanded AskPropSG's capabilities, we want to be transparent about its current limitations. At the moment, the feature is unable to display more than one set of results at a time.
To illustrate, let's say you asked AskPropSG the following question: "What is the median PSF price for Perfect Ten based on the 10 most recent sale transactions?" In the backend, AskPropSG would perform these steps:
- Retrieve the 10 most recent sale transactions.
- Calculate the median PSF of these 10 transactions.
- Output the final result to the user.
However, AskPropSG cannot yet display both the 10 recent transactions and the calculated median within the same answer. We are actively working on enhancing this feature to provide more comprehensive and versatile results. In the meantime, we encourage users to ask for the data they need in separate queries.
